Our Story of
Hope & Resilience.
From a single classroom to a global humanitarian movement, our mission has always been about the people of Bihar.
A Banyan Tree and a Dream.
In 2012, our founder Rajesh Kumar started teaching a small group of children under a banyan tree in his native village. He saw the untapped potential in those eyes—a potential being stifled by a lack of resources.
What started as a weekend tutoring project quickly evolved into a community movement. Parents began contributing their time, local teachers volunteered their skills, and the Bihar Helping Hands Foundation was born. We realized that education alone couldn't solve poverty—we needed to address health and economic independence too.
Today, we serve over 150,000 beneficiaries across 15 districts, but our soul remains the same: ground-level intervention with a global standard of care.
Our Core Values
Compassion First
We treat every beneficiary as a family member. Empathy is the driving force behind every project we launch.
Data-Driven Impact
We combine ground-level warmth with international standards of measurement to ensure every donation creates real change.
Community Led
We don't just "help"—we empower. Our projects are designed to be eventually run by the local communities themselves.
